How Many Puppies Are We Having?

One week before Malibu gave birth, we had an x-ray done to determine the size of the litter. We counted seven spines/skulls. One was hiding!

Pregnancy is confirmed! Yay! Our vet saw 3 or 4 pups but this is not an accurate read. An X-Ray after day 45 of pregnancy will reveal the skeletons of the puppies. Counting the spines/skulls is a better way to determine how many are expected at birth. Our X-Ray is scheduled for June 21st. Stay Tuned!!
